There has been some confusion about the application of MO& at high temperature. Some publications cite incorrect data on its melting and sublimation temperatures. However, the work done by SCHOLZ and DOASE has shown that MO& has a sublimation limit. However, in practice, molybdenum disulfide is not useful in high temperature applications.
